Se gradu\u00f3 como Licenciado en Cs. Biol\u00f3gicas en la Universidad Nacional del Comahue y como PhD en Biogeograf\u00eda en la Universidad de Colorado, Boulder, EEUU. Sus intereses de investigaci\u00f3n incluyen el \u00e1rea de ecolog\u00eda de bosques y biogeograf\u00eda con \u00e9nfasis en disturbios de origen bi\u00f3tico as\u00ed como tambi\u00e9n antropog\u00e9nico en ambientes boscosos. Espec\u00edficamente, su tem\u00e1tica de investigaci\u00f3n engloba distintos aspectos de la sinergia entre disturbios y la b\u00fasqueda de estrategias para mitigar sus impactos en los ecosistemas de la regi\u00f3n Andino patag\u00f3nica. Eval\u00faa aspectos como las interacciones entre el fuego y las especies invasoras como los pinos, el calentamiento global y las alteraciones en los reg\u00edmenes de disturbios (incendios, defoliaciones por insectos), el cambio global y el impacto sobre comunidades vegetales y animales, entre otros.&nbsp; Asimismo, sus investigaciones buscan dar respuesta a estas problem\u00e1ticas generando informaci\u00f3n que asista a la gesti\u00f3n y manejo de los paisajes. Brinda servicios t\u00e9cnicos relacionados con relevamientos y estado de conservaci\u00f3n de la <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex
